Before you depart for sunnier climes, let us know in advance what budget you have in mind and what type of property you are dreaming of. We are not estate agents, but we are linked to the best agencies in the region and can source all requests that you may have. Now we get to work and source a number of properties within your price range and type. We will only show you properties in your budget and property preference.



ON ARRIVAL

We know that many of you arriving on French shores may not be familiar with the French language and systems and this is where we will step in and hold your hand through what might have been a stressful time without us.

We will provide accommodation contacts in the city centre and by the coast. We will recommend a car hire company where we get special deals. We will collect you from your hotel and will chaperone you around to look at the carefully selected properties Bidsinfrance have sourced for you. We will advise and explain everything along the way.

 HEADACHE FREE PURCHASE

With the help of our bilingual legal and financial contacts, we can lend advise on all legal and financial matters. It is advisable to let your bank at home know that you may need to place a deposit on the property in France, as this you will have to pay within 7 days of signing a contract by SWIFT transfer.
Once a contract is signed in France, it is a legally binding agreement for both purchaser and seller. Following this, your notary shall ensure all the obligatory essential tests and checks abiding by French law will be performed on the property.
It is a simple process; we will explain everything to you clearly and in English!


COSTS

Bidsinfrance share the agencies fees which are included in the cost price of the property. It does not cost you a centime extra to purchase with the help of Bidsinfrance. You should not be paying more than your French counterparts!
The only extra that you need to budget for is the notary's fees, a sliding percentage on the cost of the property. These fees are at a fixed rate all over France, averaging at 7%. Your notary is an impartial independent professional and a public officer. Our notary is bilingual and will lend advice on different methods of purchasing, inheritance law, wills etc.

So, you now have your lovely new apartment/house/chalet/villa/chateau in the South of France!!
